First I’d like to mention that our experience at Planet Honda of Union, NJ was a pretty pleasant one, if you could even say that buying a new car can be a pleasant one. My father drives a lot. ~25k miles a year in commuting to approximate what he puts on a car, and his workhorse 2004 Honda Civic value package model was starting to show it’s age (153,200 miles will age any car prematurely). That said, it was a wonderful vehicle, one that kept him to come back to the Honda brand. Some of these cars WILL run on “rubber and oil” as people say, his car is a perfect example. But it was time to upgrade, small problems with the car we’re just too much to look past when you’re driving over 100 miles a day in commuting. We had an interesting time haggling trade in values and new car price for a few hours (learned some invaluable shit along the way) and when it was all said and done, left in a beautiful 2009 Honda Civic EX coupe. It won’t be too long before the most badass Taurus in NYC needs to be replaced with some new hottness, and Planet Honda definietly seems like the place to check out.

Mom wishing she had the new car (even though she has an '09 sedan...)
So yeah, it’s too bad this car can’t and will never reach the awesomeness of the 1995 Ford Taurus….what do you think?
